Southeast Asia’s Largest Bank DBS Sees 80% Increase in Bitcoin Trading Volume on Its Crypto Exchange

DBS, the largest bank in Southeast Asia, announced last week that its digital assets exchange has seen record volumes for bitcoin and Ethereum in 2022, and that the bank’s overnight bitcoin and Ethereum volumes have increased over this period. The bank points out that the number of bitcoins traded on the DBS Digital Exchange (DDEX) saw us grow by more than 80 percent year-over-year and the number of Ethereum traded on the platform was nearly 65 percent.
