Bitwise Asset Management has kicked off a bold new ad campaign for a Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF), signaling its aspiration to secure a spot for BTC in this financial landscape. The inaugural ad stars Jonathan Goldsmith, renowned for his iconic portrayal of “The Most Interesting Man in the World” in Dos Equis beer commercials.

Dubbed “Bitwise Is Interesting,” this campaign will grace screens on television, social media, and digital platforms. Major financial news networks like CNBC, Bloomberg, and Fox Business Network are set to feature this attention-grabbing ad.

As the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) mulls over Bitwise’s Bitcoin ETF application, the potential approval of physically backed Bitcoin ETFs looms as a pivotal moment. Galaxy Digital estimates an impressive $14 billion influx within the first year post-launch, should the SEC give the green light.

Bitwise stands among a sizable cohort of contenders—more than a dozen—vying for SEC approval for Bitcoin ETFs. This anticipation has sparked a surge in Bitcoin’s value, witnessing an over 18% uptick in the last 30 days alone. Other notable players in the ETF race include BlackRock, ARK Invest, WisdomTree, Valkyrie, Invesco, Galaxy Digital, and several more.
