The play-to-earn (or P2E) genre is breaking new ground in the cryptocurrency and NFT space, giving players the opportunity to earn real rewards in the form of crypto tokens and/or NFTs for their gameplay accomplishments. In this article, we’d like to introduce to you some of the elements and details found in our all-new MOBA NFT P2E game title, Versailles Heroes!
WORLD CYBER GAMES: VERSAILLES HEROES
The game is set on the planet Cybora, deep in the vastness of the universe. In this world, explorers, monsters, prophets, magic, ancient artifacts, weapons, and heroes have all emerged from a long history of chaos, legends, and warfare, eventually resulting in the formation of the land of Versailles, which is made up of several large continents as well as their factions and municipalities. It was the formation of these lands that led to the rise of organizational authorities, new heroes, and the titular Versailles Arena, which was agreed upon to be the only place where anyone could settle their differences by fighting one another for glory and precious MOH (medals of honor), the sole currency of the land.
VERSAILLES HEROES: A PLAYABLE ADVENTURE
The playable NFT heroes of Versailles come in several different classes and rarities, each with their own abilities, skills, and powers for you to explore and master. Some are available at no cost, while others can be unlocked by purchasing a mystery box from the game marketplace. Unique weapons for your heroes are also available for purchase via their own mystery box. Depending on your hero’s rarity, weapon, and ranking, you can earn bonuses that will increase the amount of game tokens earned through gameplay.
PLAYING TO WIN – PLAYING TO EARN
Speaking of gameplay, there are a wide array of game modes to choose from in Versailles Heroes, such as traditional battle modes like battle royale and death-match, not to mention inhibitor mode, a trophy hunting mode, and even wager battles where you can bet tokens and win big! By playing each game mode, you can earn virtual gMOH tokens, which can then be converted to the official P2E cryptocurrency token MOH at a 1:1 ratio and stored in a crypto wallet to be traded for other cryptocurrencies. Additionally, MOH tokens can be converted into GAS tokens, which are used to boost rewards from guilds, which can be started by players or joined by players and act as a DAO (decentralized autonomous organization). These guilds mine the DAO governance token VRH for their players and can have their reward rate boosted by burning GAS tokens after they’ve been converted from MOH. As the community develops, players will be able to lock up (or stake) their VRH tokens in exchange for veVRH, which provides voting rights for various community-pitched propositions that can alter the course of the game world and its community, facilitating a living, breathing evolution of the game’s ecosystem.
